The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics promoted Pat Manak to senior associate executive director and Julie Work to assistant executive director.

The Big South Conference promoted Chad Cook to assistant commissioner and Sherika Montgomery to assistant director of compliance.

Seattle University named Erin Engelhardt assistant athletic director for student-athlete support.

Tennessee Tech University named Kevin Bostian associate athletic director for development. Bostian was assistant athletic director for corporate development and regional athletic advancement at East Tennessee State University.

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point hired Daron Montgomery as athletic director. Montgomery was senior associate athletic director at the University of Detroit Mercy.

Football
The Cincinnati Bengals promoted Brian Sells to director of corporate sales, marketing and broadcasting.

The Indianapolis Colts hired Dennis Polian as director of football administration, Eric Kunttu as video director and Avis Roper as senior director of communications.

The Pittsburgh Steelers promoted Burt Lauten to communications coordinator.

Hockey
True North Sports and Entertainment hired Kevin Cheveldayoff as executive vice president and general manager and named Craig Heisinger as senior vice president and director of hockey operations/assistant general manager for its new NHL franchise in Winnipeg. Cheveldayoff was assistant general manager for the Chicago Blackhawks, and Heisinger was general manager for True North’s American Hockey League franchise, the Manitoba Moose.

The Chicago Blackhawks promoted Marc Bergevin to assistant general manager, Norm Maciver to director of player personnel and Kyle Davidson to hockey administration coordinator.

Lammi Sports Management hired Brett Conners as an account coordinator. Conners worked at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Chip Ganassi Racing vice president of business development Dan Griffis stepped down to become the director of strategic sponsorship and events for Target.

Stewart-Haas Racing promoted Matt Borland to vice president of competition and released director of competition Bobby Hutchens.

The Canadian Olympic Committee named Derek Kent executive director of corporate and brand communications. Kent was U.S. media relations director for Nike.

U.S. Figure Skating promoted Renee Felton to manager of media relations and hired Barbara Reichert as director of communications.

Soccer
Chivas USA hired Alicia Mendoza as its senior manager of business development.

Sporting Goods and Apparel

Siegel
Street Surfing named Mark Siegel chief executive officer. Siegel was chief executive officer for Ultra Pro Corp. Also, Street Surfing founder Mark Weiner will serve as chairman of the board.

VF Licensed Sports promoted Chuck Strom to vice president and general manager for baseball and Peter Kemp to director for NFL and NHL.

Other
The Volvo Ocean Race hired Jon Bramley as communications director and Olivier Brémont as commercial director. Bramley was global sports news editor and deputy sports editor for Thomson Reuters, and Brémont was vice president of business development and strategy for the Women’s Tennis Association.

Samsung Telecommunications America hired Todd Pendleton as chief marketing officer. Pendleton was global brand communications director for Nike.

FutureTix hired Shane Coghlan as director of consulting. Coghlan was director of sales analytics and services for Learfield Sports.
