NBC Universal promoted Paul Wilson to vice president of Olympics sales and Jeff Clachko to director of Olympics sales.

ESPN promoted Lisa Valentino to vice president of digital sales and Steve Takeuchi to vice president of sales planning and asset management.

ISP Sports promoted Joe Baldini to vice president and general manager at Syracuse University and Matt Molde to assistant vice president and general manager for the Mid-American Conference. The company hired Tim McCulloch as account executive at Villanova University, Patrick Meyer as account executive at Texas Christian University, Emily Pettorini as a radio operations assistant at its corporate headquarters and Amanda Vellucci as a newspaper production assistant at its corporate headquarters.

Learfield Sports named Mark Fields account executive for Badger Sports Properties at the University of Wisconsin. Fields was an account executive for Learfield Sports’ Black Bear Sports Properties at the University of Maine.

Soccer

Real Salt Lake named Bill Manning president. Manning was the Philadelphia Eagles’ vice president of sales and service.

Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing named Jeremy Lisch operations manager, Yolanda Grant finance manager, Jose Galvan fan development coordinator and Casey Prozeller account executive for partnership marketing.

The San Jose Earthquakes hired Jed Mettee as director of broadcasting and communications. Mettee was director of media relations for Santa Clara University.

Sporting Goods and Apparel

Under Armour promoted Wayne Marino to chief operating officer and Brad Dickerson to chief financial officer.

The National Sporting Goods Association named Matt Carlson president and chief executive officer effective May 2. Carlson will replace the retiring Jim Faltinek.

The Topps Co. promoted Scott Silverstein to chief executive officer and president.

Twins Enterprise Inc. and Banner Supply Co. named Dan Larner national sales manager. Larner was national sales manager for Pukka Headwear.

Other

The American Volleyball Coaches Association hired Ashley Beil as coordinator of awards and membership.

Fan Fares hired Joy Johnson Floyd to oversee its destination management and special-events division.

Running USA named Susan Weeks chief executive officer. Weeks was assistant executive director of business development for USA Field Hockey.

The United States Bowling Congress promoted Neil Stremmel to vice president.

The International Cricket Council named Imtiaz Patel chief executive. Patel was chief executive of SuperSport International in South Africa.

Major League Gaming named Lauren Anchin vice president of Eastern digital sales. Anchin was an account executive for ESPN.

Medalist Sports promoted Kelly Greene to vice president of event management and Virginia Kavanaugh to vice president of corporate partnerships, and hired April Gellatly as client services manager.

World Wrestling Entertainment named George Barrios chief financial officer. Barrios was vice president and treasurer for The New York Times Co.

Awards and Boards

Ashland Inc. named Vada Manager and as a director and a member of Ashland’s finance and personnel and compensation committees. Manager is director of global issues management for Nike.
