The Class AA Eastern League’s New Hampshire Fisher Cats hired Tim Restall as vice president of business operations.

The Class AA Texas League’s Corpus Christi (Texas) Hooks promoted Elisa Macias to director of sponsor services.

Basketball

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment hired Evan Gitomer and Michael Lankton as suite sales managers for the Barclays Center. Gitomer was director of ticket sales for the AFL’s Arizona Rattlers, and Lankton was premium seating manager for Maloof Sports and Entertainment.

Colleges

The NCAA named three presidents to its Division I board of directors: Ann Millner of Weber State, David Schmidly of New Mexico and the Rev. William Beauchamp of Portland.

Facilities

The United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas, hired Jim Chapman as assistant director for technical services and Tracy Prinsen as assistant director for event services.

The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority hired John Samerjan as vice president for communications.

Sam Houston Race Park named Wayne Hodes chief sales and marketing officer and senior vice president.

The Sports Museum of America named Donna Arduini vice president of finance. Arduini was controller for Production Resource Group.

Disney’s Wide World of Sports promoted Dustin Embry to sports manager and named Joe Martens account development manager, Stacy Martin-Tenny associate marketing manager and Andy Verlengia and Matthew Hanson associate sports managers.

Football

The Houston Texans promoted Ryan Reichert to vice president of security and hired Nicole Streeter as director of community development.

The Washington Redskins promoted Vinny Cerrato to executive vice president of football operations.

The National Football Foundation promoted Lisa Malin to executive director of the College Football Hall of Fame.

The Miami Dolphins named David Murphey director of media partnerships. Murphey was vice president of sales for the Orange Bowl Committee.

The Orange Bowl Committee named Daniel Ponce president and chairman. Ponce is a partner in the law firm Legon, Ponce and Fodiman.

Hockey

The National Hockey League Players’ Association hired Mike Ouellet as chief of business affairs and Matt Nussbaum as an associate counsel.

Lacrosse

Major League Lacrosse promoted Rachel Spates to director of public relations and Carl Uttaro to director of lacrosse operations, and hired Jason Chandler as director of broadcast content.

Law

Dreier LLP named Jay Reisinger and Thomas Farrell partners, and Valerie Antonette an associate in the firm’s Sports Practice. All three will be based in firm’s new Pittsburgh office.

White & Case LLP promoted Daren Orzechowski to partner based in its New York office. Orzechowski’s practice focuses on the sports and entertainment industries, as well as information technology and outsourcing.

Marketing

16W Marketing promoted Brian Nelson and Bob Philp to vice presidents of talent marketing.

Adrenalin Inc. promoted Shane George to art director.

The Leffler Agency hired Tom McElroy as senior vice president of the firm’s sports division. McElroy was previously athletic director at the University of Rhode Island.

Maroon PR hired Matthew Saler as manager of new business and social media and Bonnie Shanahan as an associate account executive.

Media

The Associated Press named Jim Kathman global director of AP sports products. Kathman was director of product management for global broadcast and director of marketing and strategy for AP Broadcast.

Blood-Horse Publications promoted Evan Hammonds to executive editor and Patty Ranft to managing editor.

Collegiate Images LLC promoted Doug Harris to director of licensing and Dan Scalia to account manager and hired Alain Darang as an account manager.

Disney/ESPN Media Networks named Tim Connolly vice president of mobile distribution. Connolly was vice president of sales and business development for Ericsson.

Learfield Sports named D.J. Hodge general manager, David Lyons senior account executive and Matt Sikich account executive for its Xavier Sports Properties at Xavier University.

MSG Media promoted Jerry Passaro to senior vice president, network operations and distribution.

Nintendo of America named Denise Kaigler vice president of marketing and corporate affairs and Bill van Zyll director and general manager of Latin America.

RLR Associates formed a new television programming division and named Linda Carrasquillo vice president of entertainment.

Sports Illustrated named Scott Novak vice president of communications.

Steve Berman resigned as YES Network’s senior vice president of ad sales.

Motorsports

Tony Cotman resigned as Champ Car’s vice president of operations.

Gillett Evernham Motorsports promoted Mark McArdle to vice president and managing director of competition.

Soccer

Chivas USA named Stephen Hamilton vice president of soccer operations. Hamilton was director of team services for AEG Sports.

The Houston Dynamo promoted Steve Powell to senior vice president of business development.

Sporting Goods and Apparel

New Balance promoted Joe Preston to executive vice president, international.

E-Z-Go promoted Mike Parkhurst to vice president of global sales.

Nike promoted Garry Cook to president of the Jordan Brand.

Rollerblade USA hired Kalinda Mathis-Bogue lead its marketing direction. Mathis-Bogue was director of marketing for the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards

The Tempe (Ariz.) Convention and Visitors Bureau named Brian Belkin sports marketing manager. Belkin was game operations manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Awards and Boards

The Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing named Joe Rooney chairman, Sean Bratches vice chairman, Eric Kessler secretary and Sam Howe treasurer. Elected as directors were Denise Dahldorf, Brian Hunt, Mike Rahimi, Bill Stemper and Rob Stoddard.

IxReveal named Peter Magowan, San Francisco Giants president and managing general partner, to its board of advisers.

Power Challenge named Peter Levin, founder and co-owner of the Arena Football League’s Chicago Rush, to its board of directors.
