The Camden (N.J.) Riversharks of the independent Atlantic League hired Andy Shultz as senior corporate sales manager, Brian Radle as corporate sales manager, Matt Higgins as group account manager, Michelle Metger as group account manager and Jenny Hitzelberger as accounting manager.

The Orlando Magic named Mark Shamley vice president of community relations and government affairs. Shamley was director of global corporate citizenship and vice president and executive director of the Tupperware Children’s Foundation.

Stanford University named Richard Muschell director of ticket sales. Muschell was the director of ticket sales for the East-West Shrine Football Game.

Delaware North Cos.-Boston named Scott Lasker event manager, Todd Perruccio event/guest relations manager, Melanie Aiello finance coordinator and Colby Gorniewicz group sales account executive.

Reid
Palace Sports and Entertainment hired Jim Reid as event coordinator and Dana Steiner as booking/marketing coordinator. Reid was a production manager at Hemisphere Entertainment, and Steiner was a clerk in the parks and recreation department for Independence Township, Mich.

Terry Bassett was named vice president, merchandise, licensing and business development for Dolphins Stadium.

Anaheim Arena Management and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim named Jesse Chatfield sponsorship services coordinator, Geoff Matthews premium sales account executive, Damon Roschke telemarketing manager and Scott Tarlo telemarketing representative. Marissa Geller was named assistant event services manager for AAM, and Regina Terrana was named payroll supervisor for the Mighty Ducks.

Lukaskiewicz
Kansas Speedway named Sammie Lukaskiewicz senior manager of public relations.

SMG promoted Steve Womack to general manager of the Rabobank Arena, Theater and Convention Center in Bakersfield, Calif.

Sunrise Sports & Entertainment named Carrie Rubin to the newly created position of vice president, client services and retention.

The Tennessee Titans hired Walter Overton as general manager of The Coliseum in Nashville. Overton was executive director of the Nashville Sports Authority.

The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority named Will Carafello marketing manager for Continental Airlines Arena and Giants Stadium. Carafello was with the Harlem Globetrotters.

The Grand Rapids (Mich.) Griffins of the American Hockey League named Jennifer Nichols corporate sales account manager and Donna Boersma accounting assistant.

The Omaha (Neb.) Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League hired Jim Kersten as vice president of sales and marketing. Kersten was executive director of sales for the Quad City (Ill.) Mallards of the United Hockey League.

David Cope will serve as director of business development and sales for his newly formed company, DC Sports & Sponsorship Sales.

Backpacker magazine named Stephen Barr advertising director. Barr was general accounts director for Esquire magazine.
