Global Spectrum named Melissa Jurcan marketing manager of the Arizona Cardinals’ new stadium. Jurcan was sales and marketing manager for Qwest Field and Event Center.

Infineon Raceway named Matthew Ellis manager, sponsorship sales and service. Ellis was a senior account executive for the San Francisco 49ers.

Pocono Raceway Inc. promoted Brandon Igdalsky and Nicholas Igdalsky to vice presidents.

The Oakland Raiders named Langston Adair, Clayton Casey, Matt Fahr and Matt Shearer season ticket sales representatives.

Lonie Glieberman resigned as president of the Ottawa Renegades.

The Arizona Super Bowl XLII Host Committee hired Shannon Williams as vice president of sponsorship and marketing. Williams was event director of P.F. Chang’s Rock ’n’ Roll Arizona for Elite Racing.

John Shannon was named NHL senior vice president, broadcasting. Shannon was vice president, programming, and executive producer of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment.

NHL Enterprises hired Doug Brooks as managing director, NHLE Canada. Brooks was general manager of Canadian Broadcasting Corp.

Winstead Sechrest & Minick elected Denis Clive Braham to become chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2007. Braham is a real estate and transaction attorney at Winstead Sechrest & Minick and chairman of its sports business and public venues practice in the Houston office.

GMR Marketing named Tamera Green vice president and group account director; Sid Levy senior director on the Bank of America account and Ryan Fay a director on the BofA account.

Hill & Knowlton hired Doug Schneider to be a West Coast practice head for the firm’s national sports marketing practice. Schneider was marketing practice head in Ruder Finn’s Los Angeles office.

Daniel Belmont was named president of Millsport and chief marketing officer for The Marketing Arm. Belmont was president of Carat Specialist Communications Group.

Octagon named Dave Fogelson director of worldwide communications and public relations. Fogelson was director of corporate affairs for Sharp Electronics.

Bruno Event Team hired Rose Kausler and Renee Hebert as event assistants and Nick Frenz for Zoom Motorsports operations for Barber Motorsports Park.

SportsMark Management Group promoted H.T. Radke to vice president, information technology; Susan Shaffer to vice president, finance; Lynn Blumberg to senior account director and Kip Bennett, Clair Conrad and Stephanie Lee to senior account managers. The company also named Diann Addis account manager, South Florida; Julius Bosak, account coordinator, Frankfurt; Chrissi Gernatt office assistant, Atlanta; Marjorie Wagner account manager, Charlotte; Kathy Lau staff accountant; Molly Suggs marketing coordinator and Jessica Lamb and Victoria Loew account coordinators.

Anna Perez is resigning as executive vice president of communications for NBC Universal at the end of May.

FSN South hired Jeff Torborg as an analyst for Atlanta Braves broadcasts. Torborg was an analyst for MLB on Fox.

Host Communications named Brent Seebohm general manager of the company’s sports marketing property at the University of Arizona. Seebohm was general manager of Tiger Sports Properties at the University of Memphis.

The Los Angeles Times named Randy Harvey sports editor. Harvey was assistant managing editor for sports at The Sun in Baltimore.

Speed hired Drew Johnson as part of the Speed News anchor team.

TeamWorks Media hired Jay Sharman as chief executive officer and promoted Ron Anastacio to vice president of Internet technology, Caryn Gerch to vice president, marketing, and Mike Sear to vice president, programming and production. Sharman is co-founder of TWM.

The NFL Network hired Carlos Aguero as creative director. Aguero was creative director for Fox Network Broadcasting.

The Golf Channel promoted Jean Beakey to vice president of sponsorship sales, central region.

Time4 Media hired Todd Unger as senior vice president, Time4 Digital. Unger was senior vice president, brand extensions and general manager, online, at Lifetime Entertainment.

Westwood One promoted David Halberstam to the newly created position of executive vice president/general manager of Westwood One Sports.

Averick Parker was named sponsorship fulfillment coordinator for the Houston Dynamo.

Lori Turner was named executive coordinator of the Omaha Sports Commission. Turner was coordinator for baseball and football for the NCAA.

Callaway Golf Co. hired Bill Knees as senior vice president of marketing. Knees was vice president of brand development for Unilever.
