The Atlanta Braves named Dr. Joe Chandler director of medical services emeritus, Dr. Norman Elliott head team physician and Dr. Xavier Duralde lead team orthopedist.

The Milwaukee Brewers promoted Sally Andrist to senior director, human resources and office management.

The Pittsburgh Pirates promoted Marc Garda to director of broadcasting.

Dannemiller
The Seattle Mariners hired Bart Waldman as vice president, baseball counsel and associate general counsel. Waldman was the team’s outside counsel as a partner in the Seattle law firm Perkins Coie.

Minor League Baseball promoted Tina Gust to associate director of licensing and Jill Rusinko to manager, special operations/charity partners and hired Bryan Sayre as an assistant in its licensing department.

John Blake was named vice president of communications for Ryan-Sanders Baseball, owners of the Round Rock (Texas) Express of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League and the Corpus Christi (Texas) Hooks of the Class AA Texas League. Blake was chief operating officer of the Northern Professional Baseball League and commissioner/chief operating officer of the Texas Collegiate League.

The Brockton (Mass.) Rox of the independent Can-Am League hired Rachel Sherman and Matt Strasburg as account executives.

Heimer
The Greensboro (N.C.) Grasshoppers of the Class A South Atlantic League named Katie Dannemiller vice president of baseball operations, Kate Barnhill director of ticketing and Ben Kramer group sales associate. Dannemiller was assistant general manager for the Lake County (Ohio) Captains, and Barnhill was a retail manager for Gap Inc.

The Lake County (Ohio) Captains of the Class A South Atlantic League promoted Kevin Brodzinski to general manager. Brodzinski succeeds Graham Hearns, who will serve as a team consultant, and senior vice president Pete Carfagna will assume additional responsibilities.

The St. Paul Saints of the independent American Association named Amy Heimer director of special events. Heimer was manager of small business for the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce.

The Sioux Falls (S.D.) Canaries of the independent American Association promoted John Kuhn to president and named Matt Hansen general manager. Hansen was director of corporate sales for the St. Paul Saints.

The Swing of the Quad Cities (Iowa) of the Class A Midwest League named Megan Freer group sales manager, Brad Hurt banquet and premium suites manager and Ben Chiswick director of broadcasting and media relations. Chiswick will also be the radio announcer for the Swing.

Colleges
Syracuse University named Scott Sidwell associate athletics director for development. Sidwell was associate athletics director for external operations for Tulane University.

Scholl
Golf
The South Florida Section of the PGA of America named David Stone director of junior golf and foundation coordinator. Stone was tournament director of the Betty Puskar Futures Golf Classic.

Facilities
Robert Scholl was hired as director of ticket sales for Gateway International Raceway. Scholl was ticket sales supervisor for the New Orleans Saints.

Global Spectrum named Shane Cadwell assistant general manager and Elizabeth Garcia director of marketing for the Budweiser Events Center at the Ranch in Larimer County (Colo.).

Football
The NFL Alumni Inc. promoted Remy Mackowski to chief operating officer.

The Canadian Football League promoted Brent Scrimshaw to chief marketing officer and named Michael Copeland chief operating officer. Copeland was director of marketing for Molson’s national value brand portfolio.

The Miami Dolphins promoted Bryan Wiedmeier to president and chief operating officer.

Mullins
The New Orleans Saints promoted Rita Benson LeBlanc to owner/executive vice president administration, Dennis Lauscha to senior vice president/chief financial officer, Ben Hales to vice president of marketing and business development, Vicky Neumeyer to vice president/general counsel, and Mike Stanfield to vice president of ticket and suite sales.

Marketing
Insider Sports Marketing named Chip Hutchinson president. Hutchinson was director of corporate sales for the Durham Bulls of the Class AAA International League.

Elita Lee has formed Elite Sports PR Management. Lee was client and media relations executive for Leigh Steinberg Enterprises Sports Management.

Dave Mullins was promoted to vice president of The National Sports Forum and Seaver Marketing Group.

Jacobsen Management Group LLC named Mike Lee vice president and tournament director and Amy Switzer director of sponsor services for the Jeld-Wen Tradition tournament. Lee was the general sales manager for Entercom Radio in Portland, and Switzer was marketing and sponsorship manager for U.S. Bank.

Zinczenko
The Marketing Arm promoted David Sanchez to an account supervisor and named Mindy Kuhl an account executive. Kuhl was event marketing manager for the University of Southern California athletic department.

Media
FSN named David Leepson vice president of development. Leepson is the co-founder of Boom Pictures.

Interpublic Media named Terri Santisi chief financial officer. Santisi was managing partner of the media and entertainment for KPMG LLP in New York.

Speed promoted Nancy MacDonald to director of marketing and promotions and named Tom Livernois director of marketing and advertising, Justin Compton marketing supervisor and Ronnie Khadaran marketing coordinator.

Sporting News hired Shawn Pastor as senior vice president of business development. Pastor was senior vice president of affiliate sales and sports business development for Westwood One.

Time4 Media named Eric Zinczenko group publisher of Time4 Outdoors. Time4 Outdoors includes Field & Stream and Outdoor Life magazines. Zinczenko was vice president and publisher for Backpacker Magazine.

International Speedway Corp. promoted Kathy Milthorpe to managing director of community and governmental affairs.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Tommy Bahama Golf named Judy Warren salesperson for North Carolina and South Carolina. Warren was a sales representative and regional sales manager for Ashworth.

MLS named Donna Martinez human resources executive assistant and Michael Vadakkethalakkel executive assistant.

Tennis
Frankie Whelan retired as executive director of the Family Circle Cup and Tennis Center in Charleston, S.C. The Meredith Corp. named Robin Reynolds facility and tournament director and Bob Moran director of sales and business development for the center.

Tennis Canada named Michael Cvitkovic regional director of communications and media relations. Cvitkovic was coordinator of media relations for the Toronto Raptors.

XOS Technologies promoted Bryan Bedford to national facilities sales manager and hired Phil Frye as regional sales manager.

Devine Racing promoted Larry Levy to vice president of finance and named Bob Snyder vice president of sales and merchandising. Snyder operated Beason Broadcast Partners.

American Skiing Co. promoted Kelly Pawlak to managing director and named Stan Hansen senior vice president of real estate.

WIN Products named Jeff Crow the company’s first president and general manager. Crow worked in the sports marketing division of Coca-Cola.
