A Light In The Darkness: Boxing Ratings

HBO’s “Boxing After Dark” continues to do well among pay-cable networks, as 2.04 million households watched the Sept. 24 Wladimir Klitschko-Sam Peter IBF heavyweight fight. The bout was shown live and was not a pay-per-view event. It was the fourth time this year the network has topped the ratings chart with a fight, and trailed only the Feb. 19 Bernard Hopkins-Howard Eastman WCB matchup as the most-watched of the year. That fight drew 2.1 million households.

Listed below were the five most-watched shows on pay-cable Sept. 19-25. The top four shows aired on HBO during prime time. The network aired “Rome” on Sunday night. Rank Program (time) Rating Rating Households
