Media: More than 1,400 outdoor media placements in the Los Angeles area including bulletins, billboards, bus benches and bus sides; radio spots on eight stations including the Kings’ flagship ESPN Radio; television spots on Fox Sport Net West, KCAL, KTLA and across three cable systems; and print advertising in the Los Angeles Times, Daily News and Daily Breeze.

Time line: The campaign began on Sept. 1 and will run through the end of October.

Target: The campaign targets both loyal Kings fans and casual fans with the purpose of getting them excited about the return of the Kings in the style that Hollywood promotes blockbuster films.

Sample ad: The Kings are promoted as heroes returning to protect the great city in a commercial that has the effect of a movie trailer.
