The New Orleans Hornets hired Flavil Hampsten as group sales manager. Hampsten was a premium seating sales executive with Comcast-Spectacor.
The National Basketball Development League named Mike Berry chief operating officer of the new franchises in Albuquerque, N.M.; Tulsa, Okla.; Fort Worth, Texas; and Austin, Texas, and president of NBDL Austin.
