State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships Ratings

While CBS and Fox were airing NFL playoff coverage on Jan. 10, ABC offered programming with a distinctly different flair. The 2004 State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships were broadcast by the network, continuing an involvement that dates to 1962.

Presented here are ratings for this year’s broadcast and the broadcasts of recent years. The top marks of recent years came in 1998, in advance of the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

The 2005 U.S. championships are scheduled for Jan. 9-16 in Portland, with ABC again holding broadcast rights under terms of a eight-year, $96 million contract that runs through 2006.
