Jim Mauceri was named director of media relations for the Staten Island Yankees, replacing Rose DeInnocentiis, who left the organization in September.

Andrew Haley was hired as a corporate sales representative with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Isiah Thomas was named president, basketball operations for the New York Knicks, replacing Scott Layden. Steve Mills was promoted to president and chief operating officer for MSG Sports, overseeing the business operations of the Knicks, Rangers and Liberty.


FACILITIES

Chris Holland was hired as vice president and treasurer at Aramark Corp.

Comcast Spectacor promoted Dave Kersh to premium services hospitality manager, and Debbie Oddi was named hospitality coordinator in the premium services department.

Tim Hassett was named senior vice president and general manager of Madison Square Garden. He was executive vice president and general manager at Giants Stadium and Continental Airlines Arena.

The FleetCenter added Tony Palmisano of Sporting News Radio 1510 as general sales manager, Steve Lombardi of Sporting News Radio 1510 and Mary Brien Freeman of Talis Learning Solutions as premium sales directors, Ashley Randlett as premium sales coordinator and Shelby Thompson of the NBA league office as the client services coordinator for the advertising sales department.

Lee Genier was promoted to director of sales for the CFL Calgary Stampeders.

Jennifer Malewicki was hired as an account executive with the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Rich McKay was hired as president and general manager of the Atlanta Falcons.

Elcot Golf named Steve Nieman tournament director for the Franklin American Mortgage Championship benefiting Vander-bilt Children's Hospital, an LPGA event in Tennessee.

The Anaheim Mighty Ducks promoted Michael Williams to director of sales and marketing and Aaron Teats to director of broadcasting. The team also named mlb.com marketing producer Michael Corcoran Web site editor, Five Continents Ltd. sales manager Brian Pringle advertising sales manager and Valerie Schwartz accountant.

Sarah Roberts, Shawn DeWitt and Vicki-Lynn Tacke were hired as account executives with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL.

The Carolina Hurricanes promoted Matt West to vice president of corporate sales, marketing and sponsorship sales and Michael Hurley to broadcast and advertising sales manager.

Eric Kistler was hired as an outside sales representative for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Boston Bruins community relations department added Kerry Collins of Entercom Boston as manager of community development and special events and Kim Desto as marketing assistant. Chris DiPierro and Marisa Beal, both from the FleetCenter, joined as marketing services coordinator and community relations assistant, respectively. The newly created fan relations department added Kate Isbister of the FleetCenter and Lauren Tibbals, formerly of the Colorado Rapids, as fan relations coordinators.

The Florida Panthers promoted Michael Yormark to chief financial officer and vice president. Four new hires are Jennifer Julius as account services executive and Christie Landi, Connor Thinnes and Mike McDonough as account executives to manage new business development.

The ECHL Louisiana IceGators named Kelley Tway media relations coordinator and Jeremy Hernandez music coordinator, and April Catarella was promoted to ticket administration coordinator.

The Bakersfield (Calif.) Condors promoted Greg May to assistant general manager and added Matthew Martin of the Tampa Bay Lightning as director of sales. Alex Sheffield left the club to become director of corporate sales with the New Orleans Zephyrs, and production director Chris Peace has taken a diminished

role with the club because of family commitments on the East Coast.

Elizabeth Wodatch was hired as manager of community development for the Washington Capitals. She comes from the WUSA's Washington Freedom.

Atique Shah was hired as vice president of customer relationship management and technology solutions at Churchill Downs Inc. in Louisville, Ky.


MARKETING

Carolyn Suh, who managed Yahoo!'s sponsorship marketing efforts for the 2002 men's and 2003 women's soccer world cups, is leaving the company.

Carrie Sazama was named marketing manager for family shows and special events at Palace Sports & Entertainment.

Ken Whelan, former manager of corporate sponsorships and promotions for the Los Angeles Lakers, joined Envision as an account executive on the T-Mobile account team.

Stiglitz
Dallas-based Genesco Sports Enterprises hired Hallie Stiglitz as assistant client manager for the Pepsi-Cola account.

Philip Jones and Andre Lacroix joined the ATP Marketing Advisory Board of ATP Properties Ltd., the commercial arm of the ATP.

Advertising agency Cossette Post has launched sports marketing communications firm Thinking Sports LLC, a joint venture with its newly appointed chief creative officer, Robert Reiser, and Mark Bingham, former Octagon Marketing N.A. president.

Bulldawg Marketing hired Stacey Murdock to handle public relations for the NASCAR Busch Series No. 6 Hungry Drivers' Program with Tommy Baldwin Racing and other marketing efforts.

William Owen was named chief financial officer of Outdoor Channel Holdings, succeeding Richard Dickson, who resigned to pursue other business interests.

Robert Ecker was promoted to vice president of programming at Speed Channel.

Randy Satterburg was promoted to director of marketing at DirecTV.

Greg Norman, professional golfer and chief operating officer of Great White Shark Enterprises, joined Travel + Leisure Golf magazine as a contributing writer.

Maureen Quilter was hired as communications manager for the Philadelphia region at Comcast SportsNet.

Shawn Donnelly was hired as advertising manger of Kickoff Magazine, the official magazine of Pop Warner football and a Lifestyle Media Inc. publication based in New York.
