MARKETING AND LICENSING DEALS

Salt Lake City-based Love Communications and the Utah Athletic Foundation launched the summer phase of the "Get Up and Go" advertising campaign, which includes television commercials and billboards encouraging the public to experience bobsled rides and freestyle aerial camps at the Utah Olympic Park.

Team Speedo has signed divers Troy Dumais, his brother Justin Dumais, and Sara Hildebrand to individual endorsement deals.

Sports and event marketing agency Woolf Associates signed 2003 Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Robert Parish to an exclusive marketing agreement.

Fayetteville, N.Y.-based Innovision Productions and Syracuse Sports Properties, the marketing agency of Syracuse University athletics, released a home video/DVD on the Syracuse men's basketball championship season, "Orange Odyssey: The Championship Season," presented by Key Bank.

SPONSORSHIPS

Brine Inc., based in Milford, Mass., signed a three-year renewal to continue its status as the official soccer ball of the NAIA. Brine, a manufacturer of sporting goods, will be the exclusive supplier of all soccer balls at the NAIA men's and women's regional and national championships, and will have naming rights to the NAIA men's and women's Soccer Coach of the Year Awards.

Modesto, Calif.-based Save Mart Supermarkets signed a multiyear agreement to continue as title sponsor of the annual NASCAR Winston Cup Series event at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif. The supermarket chain has been either the title sponsor or the co-title sponsor of the Winston Cup event at Infineon since 1992.

Best Western International signed on as the top-level sponsor of TEAMS 2003: Travel, Events And Management in Sports, a gathering of event organizers and travel planners from the sports industry Nov. 5-8 at the Fairmont Hotel in New Orleans.
