JSR Associates expanded its services to include sports governance consulting.

Charlotte-based Raycom Sports is opening an office in Mobile, Ala. The new office, which will be run by Steve Harrelson, vice president of events, will handle primarily the operations for Mobile LPGA Tournament of Champions and the Cornelius Bennett Celeb-Am Classic.

The NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series' postseason awards fund has been increased to $170,000 from last year's $166,000 payout. Nearly 1,800 drivers are expected to compete for the awards, to be divided among the short-track champions at 75 participating racetracks.
