Senior Classic re-signs Toshiba for 3 years

Toshiba Computer Systems Group has extended its title sponsorship of the Champions Tour's Toshiba Senior Classic for another three years.

The new deal, whose financial terms have not been disclosed, runs through 2006.

Toshiba has been title sponsor of the event since the tournament's inception in 1995.

The 2003 edition of the tournament took place last week at the Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach, Calif.

The tournament expects to donate more than $1 million to charity for the fourth consecutive year.
