 Jackets use Ticketmaster system

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Ticketmaster launched Ticketmaster Marketplace, a new online suite of ticket management tools that provide options to season-ticket holders including online ticket resale and forwarding. The Blue Jackets are the first professional sports team to use the system.

 Rockets launch fantasy tourney

The Houston Rockets have launched a one-on-one fantasy tournament on their Web site, www.rockets.com, that allows fans to select the greatest players ever to wear a Rockets uniform. "The Road to Rocketsville" is an interactive game that divides 64 players into four regions.

 Mavs cater to Chinese

The Dallas Mavericks will offer Mandarin Chinese previews of their games on the team's Web site, www.dallasmavericks.com. Written by Xu Jicheng, a basketball reporter for the Xinhua News Agency, the items will be posted in the Radio Shack Preview section of the site and will run with previews in English, Spanish and German. The Mavericks have players from Mexico, Canada, Germany and China.
