Dryerman named CFO at Sports Capital Partners

Sports Capital Partners, a $215 million fund that invests in sports companies, named David Dryerman its chief financial officer.

Since 1998, Dryerman had served as controller for Wand Partners, a New York-based private equity firm with about $250 million under management.

Sports Capital's investments include Tickets.com, The Golf Warehouse and the Skip Barber Racing School. The firm is still searching for a new senior investment partner, whose appointment will trigger a major financial infusion from existing backer the California Public Employees Retirement System.

Dryerman will advise senior management on financial accounting matters, participate in overseeing the fund's companies and serve as the primary point of contact at the firm for its outside investors.
