E-ticketer works for Giants
Justarrive Inc., an electronic ticketing firm founded two years ago by a group of Stanford University undergraduates, is working on a pilot program for San Francisco Giants luxury suite owners. The pilot, which Justarrive officials say eliminates the hassle of mailing paper tickets, has picked up only a couple of the Giants' 67 suite owners since it was launched in May. Luxury suite owners use an online account page to send e-mails to people using the suite for a coming game. The recipients e-mail their credit card number and, upon arriving at Pacific Bell Park, simply swipe the card through a reader. It's the first pro sports contract for Just-arrive, whose college roster of customers includes Stanford, UCLA, Central Florida, Georgia Tech and Miami.

The game is sponsored by Bloomberg and can be accessed through paralysis.org and can be found on the Golf Society of the U.S.'s site at golfsociety.com. Participants select eight LPGA golfers and earn points for their performance in five tournaments between June 5 and July 8.
