Paris St. Germain is expected to announce a new €50M ($56.7M)-per-year jersey sponsorship in the coming weeks, according to Folgoas & Leroy of LE PARISIEN. The club said it would announce who the deal is with “by the end of March.” Emirates airline has been PSG’s front-of-jersey sponsor since ’06, but “decided not to see out its contract through the end of this season.” PSG’s deal with Emirates is reportedly worth €25M-€30M ($28M-$34M) annually. Another airline “could be on the short list” to succeed Emirates, but “it will not be Qatar Airways” (LE PARISIEN, 2/18).
