Executive Transactions: Atlético Renews Simeone's Deal Through '22

Atlético Madrid coach DIEGO SIMEONE signed a new contract at the club until '22. Simeone's previous deal ran until June 30, 2020 (ESPN.com, 2/14). ... Asian MMA promotion Legend FC named AUDIE ATTAR a founding board member. Legend FC also named Berjaya Assets a strategic investor (Legend FC). ... JUAN CARLOS OSORIO is no longer head coach of Paraguay after he and the Paraguay FA (APF) announced they would "part ways by mutual consent." Osorio made the announcement alongside APF President ROBERT HARRISON at a joint news conference, "citing family issues as the reason for leaving his post" (ESPN.com, 2/14). ... Ligue 1 side Monaco VP VADIM VASILYEV resigned. After poor on-pitch results and “substantial financial losses” this season, Vasilyev has "decided to not see out the season" (L’ÉQUIPE, 2/14).
