Executive Transactions: Greg Clarke Elected Britain's New FIFA VP

FA Chair GREG CLARKE was elected Britain’s new FIFA VP in "what should be a boost" for a potential English-led bid for the 2030 World Cup. Clarke beat DAVID MARTIN, from Northern Ireland, by 37 votes to 18 in the election at UEFA’s Congress in Rome and will take a seat on FIFA’s Council. He succeeds DAVID GILL, the former ManU CEO (LONDON TIMES, 2/7). ... TOM LISTER was named marketing director for Pro14. He will aim to grow the league's brand and strengthen its fanbase via digital channels (Pro14). ... Content Arena, the B2B marketplace for sports media rights, appointed LASSE ECKARTSBERG as its director of business development. Eckartsberg joined the team on Feb. 1 and will work with co-Founders SASCHA KOJIC and ERIK LORENZ to develop partnerships with rights holders and buyers (Content Arena). ... CONCACAF named Wasserman Exec VP/Brands HEIDI PELLERANO CCO. Pellerano led Wasserman's brands division and multicultural practice, and played a key role in overseeing the company's plan for expansion into Latin America. Her hire is effective Feb. 25 (Ian Thomas, THE DAILY).
