Executive Transactions: ONE Championship Names Meghan Jenkins VP Int'l

ONE Championship appointed MEGHAN JENKINS as VP int'l. Jenkins will develop and expand ONE Championship's int'l business and drive strategic initiatives in new markets. Jenkins has more than 10 years' experience with the NBA. She start her new role in March (ONE Championship). ... Ligue 1 side Nice named GAUTHIER GANAYE president of the club. He replaces JEAN-PIERRE RIVÈRE. The general director post, left vacant by JULIEN FOURNIER, will be filled by CLAUDE LI, who has been adjunct general director since Oct. ’17 (L’ÉQUIPE, 1/31). ... DAZN announced that VERONICA DIQUATTRO, in addition to Italy, will "also lead the business in Spain, as EVP Revenue, Southern Europe." In the new role, Diquattro will work to grow DAZN in Spain, as well as Italy (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 1/30).

COACHES/MANAGERSZORAN MAMIC was appointed manager of Saudi Pro League side A Hilal on a one-and-a-half-year contract. The Croatian replaces JORGE JESUS, who left the club by mutual consent "after less than a year in charge" (THE NATIONAL, 1/31). ... ALBERTO ZACCHERONI "appeared to signal the end to his tenure" as UAE national team manager on Tuesday after his side "bowed out" of the Asian Cup. Appointed in Oct. '17, Zaccheroni's contract with the UAE FA ran until the conclusion of the competition. Although no confirmation has come from the governing body, the Italian is "expected to leave his post" (THE NATIONAL, 1/30). ... BRIAN RICE was appointed Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical's head coach. Rice, 55, succeeds MARTIN CANNING, who left the club on Tuesday after four years in charge. He will work under Dir of Football ALLAN MCGONIGAL in his first managerial job (BBC, 1/31).
