Executive Transactions: Indonesian FA Chair Edy Rahmayadi Resigns

EDY RAHMAYADI resigned as chair of the Indonesian FA (PSSI) over the weekend "amid fresh allegations of match fixing in the national league," which have "reignited the sport's long-running struggle against corruption." The PSSI and police announced a crackdown on match-fixing in December (JAKARTA GLOBE, 1/21). ... The England & Wales Cricket Board appointed CLARE CONNOR to the new role of MD, Women's Cricket, while DAVID MAHONEY was named COO (ECB). ... IAN REID was confirmed as the CEO of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee. The 41-year-old was the CFO for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games (Birmingham 2022). ... FA Women's Super League side Birmingham City Women appointed former Chile and Peru women's national team Manager MARTA TEJEDOR as manager. Tejedor, 50, replaces MARC SKINNER (BBC, 1/21).
