India's Pro Volleyball League, the upcoming franchise-based league, "roped in" four sponsors ahead of its inaugural season. National Payments Corp. of India's RuPay signed up as the title sponsor of the league, while Bank of Baroda, Peter England and Nippon Paint have "come on board as associate sponsors." Pro Volleyball League is an initiative of sports marketing firm Baseline Ventures and the Volleyball Federation of India (ECONOMIC TIMES, 1/22).
Jim Beam will "use local Super Bowl ad buys in the nation's top three media markets to show off its first new global ad campaign in five years." The effort, called "Raised Right," begins with an ad "recalling how the family-run bourbon brand rebuilt itself in the wake of Prohibition." Another spot "takes place in the present day, but still leans into the brand's 224-year heritage." The ads mark the "debut effort for the Beam Suntory-owned brand" by Adam & Eve DDB, N.Y. (AD AGE, 1/22).
The Egyptian FA signed a kit supply deal for the Egyptian national team with Puma. The EFA announced the deal after the team's contract with adidas ended in '18. Puma will supply football kits to all national teams at the youth and senior levels (KINGFUT, 1/23).
Ascot Racecourse announced a multi-year deal with luxury British accessories brand Radley London. The brand will launch an exclusive collection of bags for Royal Ascot and the summer season. The deal was brokered by IMG (IMG).
Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin signed Addison Global's MoPlay in a sponsorship deal. MoPlay will work with the club to "launch unique initiatives" to engage fans. The long-term partnership was brokered by Lagardère Sports (GAMING INTELLIGENCE, 1/23).
