Media Notes: Puma Launches SS19 Designs With 'Unlock New Levels'

Puma "has taken football off the pitch and placed it within the competitive world of gaming as it launches its SS19 designs for Puma One and Future football boots." Created by Knas, and directed by Hans-Christoph Schultheiss, "Unlock New Levels" features footballers Luis Suárez, Sergio Agüero, Antoine Griezmann, Marco Reus and Romelu Lukaku as characters in a video game (THE DRUM, 1/16).

The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed two Indian firms, Techfront and IMG Reliance, will have the broadcast and production rights to the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League, starting on Feb. 14 (MUMBAI MIRROR, 1/15).

TF1 will broadcast the Super Bowl on Feb. 3 on its primary channel in France. The game has been shown on M6’s W9 channel since ’10. TF1 announced in October that it acquired the rights (20 MINUTES, 1/16).

DAZN registered almost 200 million social media views distributed through Grabyo in '18 (Grabyo).

Discovery Communications India’s sports channel, DSport, will broadcast live events from this year's European Tour. The deal begins with the live broadcast of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship from Wednesday-Saturday (TELEVISION POST, 1/16).
