Marketplace Roundup: Scottish Side Dundee Partners With Macron

Scottish Premiership side Dundee announced a five-year kit sponsorship deal with Italian brand Macron. The company will provide technical playing and training kits to the first team and youth academy and will expand on the range of leisurewear available at the club shop (Dundee). 

Perth's RAC Arena named Hyundai Motor Company Australia its first official motor vehicle partner. The Korean car company will install electric car charging stations in the venue's carpark as part of the partnership (RAC Arena). 

Watchmaker Panerai partnered with Luna Rossa, the Challenger of Record team for the 36th edition of the America's Cup, as its official sponsor. A new collection, the Submersible Luna Rossa, will commemorate the occasion (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 1/14).

W Series named Hankook its official tire partner for its inaugural season, commencing at Hockenheim, Germany, in May. Hankook will provide the series with its high-end racing tire, the Ventus Race (W Series). 

Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg signed a five-year naming rights contract with local insurance company Mutest for its academy. The academy is now called the “Racing Mutest Académie” (L’ÉQUIPE, 1/16).

Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais signed a two-year partnership with French ski resort town Tignes. The club regularly travels to Tignes during the preseason. The town is now the official sporting resort of OL (SPORTBUZZ BUSINESS, 14/16).
