Media Notes: Sky Partners With Anthony Joshua For Loyalty Program

Sky partnered with Anthony Joshua to "surprise boxing fans with a sparring session" to promote its loyalty program. A selection of Sky customers were treated to a training session with Joshua’s team, including Lawrence Okolie. Sky is using a 90-second edit of the stunt to promote its VIP loyalty scheme (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 1/4).

Eurosport will be the home of tennis in Russia after it was announced it will show 39 ATP Tour tournaments a season for three years starting this month. The agreement includes nine ATP Masters 1000 events, 13 ATP 500 events and 15 ATP 250 events, the end-of-season ATP Finals tournament as well as the Next Gen ATP Finals (Eurosport).

Eleven Sports scrapped its annual pass, as "speculation over the streaming service’s future" in the U.K. continues. Until very recently, U.K.-based consumers were able to choose between a £49.99 ($63.84) annual pass and a £5.99 ($7.65) monthly pass. However, the annual pass "is no more." Eleven Sports said that it removed the option to purchase an annual pass in late '18, but there is a "chance it could return at some point in the future" (TRUSTED REVIEWS, 1/4).
