Executive Transactions: Canberra Racing Club Names Full-Time CEO

ANDREW CLARK will move into a full-time CEO role at the Canberra Racing Club after filling the position on an interim basis for the past three months. It was decided Clark, a former Canberra Racing CFO, was the "best fit" for the organization after the departure of long-time CEO PETER STUBBS in October (THE AGE, 12/12). ... JOHN HARNDEN was appointed chair of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 local organizing committee. Harnden has been a member of the LOC board since its inception, having previously been CEO of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 LOC and CEO of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corp. The LOC board also includes Cricket Australia Chair EARL EDDINGS and CA CEO KEVIN ROBERTS (ICC). ... Former Hong Kong national men's football team head coach GARY WHITE was appointed manager of J.League side Tokyo Verdy. The 44-year-old "garnered praise as a miracle worker," having "raised minnows" such as the Bahamas and Guam to new heights in the FIFA rankings (JAPAN TIMES, 12/12).
