Kick It Out Chair HERMAN OUSELEY stepped down from his position as he revealed he "received hate mail" following the recent incident involving RAHEEM STERLING. Ouseley, the former CEO of the Commission for Racial Equality, set up the organization but decided to vacate the position after 25 years of service (London DAILY MAIL, 12/11). ... Channel 4 CMO DAN BROOKE is leaving after eight years. He will leave the broadcaster in early '19 to launch a marketing and communications business. His new company will focus on "helping companies be mission and purpose-driven" (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 12/11). ... JASON DEAN was named CTO of tappit, a cashless payment service for music festivals, sports and other global entertainment venues. He will be responsible for leading R&D and product development and engineering, helping to streamline tappit's existing cashless payment technology (tappit). ... SANDY DUDGEON will succeed ROGER WEATHERBY as senior steward of the Jockey Club next year after being elected for a five-year term. ITV Racing presenter ALICE FOX-PITT is among five new members elected to the Jockey Club, as is ANNA-LISA BALDING, who joins her sister-in-law, CLARE, and her father-in-law, IAN, who are existing members (RACING POST, 12/10). ... The Canadian Olympic Committee announced on Tuesday that global sports exec DAVID SHOEMAKER will be the organization's CEO and secretary general, effective Jan. 7. Shoemaker will lead the COC after spending seven years as CEO of NBA China and previously serving as president of the WTA Tour (COC).

COACHES/MANAGERS: The Hong Kong FA announced the resignation of men's national team head coach GARY WHITE. The association said that he will join a Japanese club side. The HKFA planned to release merchandise built around White, with a hooded shirt including the slogan "Whitevolution" announced as "coming soon" just last week. White's departure means that the HKFA is "now looking" for a new head coach and CEO (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 12/10). ... Pro14 side Dragons parted company with head coach BERNARD JACKMAN. The former Ireland int'l succeeded KINGSLEY JONES after the Welsh Rugby Union took over the team in June '17. Jackman's successor has not been revealed as he leaves less than 18 months into a three-season contract (BBC, 12/11). ... La Liga side Villarreal appointed LUIS GARCÍA PLAZA, the head coach of its B team 12 years ago, as the replacement for JAVI CALLEJA until the end of the season (FOX SPORTS, 12/10).
