Marketplace Roundup: CSL Side Jiangsu Suning Makes Samsung A Main Sponsor

Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning signed Samsung as a main sponsor for three seasons ('19-21). The partnership is reportedly worth more than 300M yuan ($43.6M). Samsung will have its Chinese and English logo featured on the front and back of the team's shirt in CSL games (YUTANG SPORTS, 12/7).

Online betting and gaming operator Betway expanded its sponsorship with Aintree Racecourse to include two more significant races in the National Hunt racing calendar. Already an official betting partner of the Randox Health Grand National Festival at Aintree, Betway will now also sponsor the Many Clouds Chase and Grand Sefton Handicap, which took place on Saturday (GAMING INTELLIGENCE, 12/7).

British Cycling named online training platform Zwift its official training community. The partnership marks the countdown to the governing body's national-level virtual reality event using Zwift, the inaugural British Cycling eRacing Championships. The announcement comes after the Int'l Cycling Union unveiled its new eSports World Championships (British Cycling). 

The Women's Big Bash League and Dolly's Dream -- a national bullying initiative supported by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation -- joined forces to raise funds and awareness about bullying. During WBBL finals, all of cricket's ticket revenue from the semifinals and final will go toward helping Dolly's Dream (WBBL).
