Marketplace Roundup: Real Madrid FIFA 19 Shirts On Sale For €90

Real Madrid "has found another source of revenue." Adidas designed alternative Real Madrid shirts for FIFA 19, which the club will not wear this season, and those shirts are on sale for €90 ($102.42). The shirts "are dark blue, with white details that simulate a sky full of stars that illuminate the history of Real Madrid" (EL CONFIDENCIAL, 12/6).

Top14 side Stade Français partnered with Heroic Sport. The sports drink brand was founded by former French football int’l Lassana Diarra and becomes an official provider for the rugby club. Heroic Sport will benefit from LED signage at Stade’s home matches as well as digital activations (Stade Français).

The Paris Court of Cassation overturned the decision that required Top14 side RC Toulon to pay €1.8M ($2M) to its former kit maker, Puma. The club was ordered in May ’17 to pay Puma for breach of contract. The club signed a three-year contract with Puma from ’10-13, before ending the agreement in ’11 to sign with Burrda. Puma will now have to repay RC Toulon (L’ÉQUIPE, 12/5).

FIFA and the 2019 Women's World Cup local organizing committee signed low-carbon energy firm EDF as a national supporter of the tournament, taking place across France from June 7-July 7. The group becomes the fifth national supporter for the 2019 Women's World Cup (FIFA). 

ABC Communication, the official promoter of the SuperEnduro and EnduroGP series, signed a three-year deal with Sportradar to create EnduroTV, the official streaming service for the SuperEnduro and EnduroGP series from '19 (ABC Communication). 

Chinese herbal health product brand Infinitus is a new official sponsor of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, which is currently underway in Shaoxing, Zhejiang from Tuesday-Sunday. The brand's logo is being displayed on court-side LED boards and on the big screen in the competition venue (YUTANG SPORTS, 12/6).

Chinese sports apparel brand Li-Ning announced its "Li-Ning X EDG" joint apparel line with Chinese esports organization Edward Gaming (EDG). The company will start selling the apparel on Dec. 8 at its retail store in Shanghai's Daning shopping complex (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 12/6).
