Premiership Side Bath Weighing Options For Temporary Home

Premiership side Bath Rugby "is looking at some Bristol options for a temporary home" as it builds its new stadium, according to Aidan McCartney of the BRISTOL POST. The club has "put in for planning permission" for the construction of a new 18,000-capacity permanent stadium on its current ground. The plans include a "community-focused stadium" with leisure and sports facilities and an underground car park. Bath is considering "moving to a temporary home ahead of the new stadium opening" in Sept. '21. The club has 16 potential options which include playing at Ashton Gate or the Memorial Stadium in Bristol. Other options include Cardiff Arms Park, Kingsholm and the Madejski Stadium. Another potential option "is to build a temporary stadium in or near Bath with a capacity of 14,500" (BRISTOL POST, 12/5).
