Marketplace Roundup: Wanderers Owner To Sponsor Training Facility

Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers Owner Fosun will put its name on the club's training complex, the Sir Jack Hayward training ground. The club revealed the move to sponsor its Compton Park facility was "decided at the beginning of this season" (BIRMINGHAM MAIL, 12/3).

Hong Kong boxer Rex Tso Sing-yu is the subject of Nike’s new "Dreamers: Rex Tso" video, "built around the fighter’s dream of representing Hong Kong" at the 2020 Tokyo Games. The strapline for the campaign is, "2020. It's only crazy until you do it" (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 12/4).

The Laver Cup partnered with Credit Suisse, making the company a global sponsor of the event for the next five years. The three-day tournament pits six of the top male tennis players from Europe against six from the rest of the world. The event will be held in Geneva from Sept. 20-22 next year (Credit Suisse). 

La Liga side Espanyol "wants to internationalize its brand, and it has joined forces with Amazon to achieve this." The Spanish club announced it will sell its official products worldwide via Amazon. Fans can now buy Espanyol merchandise on both the team's online store and Amazon's (PALCO23, 12/3).
