World Rugby appointed MARISSA PACE as CMO. Pace will begin her new role as head of a newly-formed marketing department in mid-January. She will be responsible for the federation's fan-engagement and marketing strategies as the sport continues to reach and inspire new audiences (World Rugby). ... Cricket NSW is on the search for a new CEO with ANDREW JONES to leave the organization at the end of the season. Jones, who started in the role five years ago, informed state delegates of his decision to leave at a meeting on Monday (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 12/3). ... The IAAF appointed JON RIDGEON as CEO following approval by the IAAF Council. Ridgeon, 41, started out as an athlete competing in the hurdles from '84-96. He has since set up and run successful businesses in sport and was responsible for transforming British Athletics in '98 to the most commercially successful athletics governing body in the world (IAAF). 

MANAGERS/COACHES: K League 1 club Suwon Bluewings hired former Korea FA Technical Dir LEE LIM-SAENG as head coach. The team signed Lee to a two-year contract (YONHAP, 12/3). ... Super Rugby side Crusaders assistant coach BRAD MOOAR will succeed WAYNE PIVAC as Pro14 side Scarlets head coach at the end of the season. Mooar helped Crusaders win the Super Rugby title this year. The 44-year-old will join Scarlets next summer, with Pivac leaving his role to take over as Wales head coach at the end of the 2019 Rugby World Cup (BBC, 12/3). ... MARK HUGHES was sacked as EPL side Southampton manager after eight months in charge. Assistant coach KELVIN DAVIS will take charge of the team for the game against Tottenham on Wednesday. Southampton is "set to approach" Bundesliga side Leipzig Manager RALPH HASENHUTTL about the manager's job (BBC, 12/3).
