The IAAF appointed JON RIDGEON as CEO following approval by the IAAF Council. Ridgeon, 41, started out as an athlete competing in the hurdles from '84-96. He has since set up and run successful businesses in sport and was responsible for transforming British Athletics in '98 to the most commercially successful athletics governing body in the world (IAAF).

Super Rugby side Crusaders assistant coach BRAD MOOAR will succeed WAYNE PIVAC as Pro14 side Scarlets head coach at the end of the season. Mooar helped Crusaders win the Super Rugby title this year.
