The new shirt will be available Wednesday.Nike

To mark the 20th anniversary of its relationship with Barcelona, Nike is releasing a commemorative jersey featuring a mash-up of every home shirt of the last two decades. The limited-edition jersey, which will not be worn on the pitch, fuses numerous iterations of the club’s stripes on the front, back and sleeves. The Barça x Nike 20th Anniversary Jersey will be available on Wednesday on nike.com and at select retailers (Nike).

SETTING A STANDARD: The Barça Innovation Hub and FIFA created a standard format to unify the monitoring data that football teams collect during training and matches. Each club had previously stored that information differently. The announcement was made on Friday at the Sports Technology Symposium hosted by the club.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS: The Barça Experience on Hainan Island, China, opened on Sunday. The facility includes an interactive 4,000-square-meter museum and a megastore as well as a Barça Academy Pro with six pitches. The Barça Experience Haikou Exhibition Centre -- the first outside of Barcelona -- is one of the pillars of a strategic partnership between Barcelona and Mission Hills Group (Barcelona).
