Franchise Notes: Honda Partners With IHI To Support Red Bull F1

Honda partnered with Japan's IHI ahead of the '19 Formula 1 season to "boost the development of its turbo," as it seeks to win races with Red Bull next season. The Japanese brand will for the first time supply two F1 teams, existing partner Toro Rosso and newcomer Red Bull (MOTORSPORT WEEK, 11/13).

Japanese game developer Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer eFootball.Pro league, which was announced last year, added its sixth and final team and will begin play in December. Nantes "rounds out a list" of competing teams that include Barcelona, Schalke 04, Monaco, Celtic and Boavista (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 11/13).

Chinese live streaming company Huya announced the name of its Chinese Overwatch League expansion team -- Chengdu Hunters. It is the second Chinese OWL expansion team to unveil its brand, after the Guangzhou Charge. The brand and team logo features a panda and combines the main colors of Huya and RNG (TEO, 11/12).
