Leicester City Will Not Play Goal Music During Burnley Match

EPL side Leicester City "will not play any goal celebration music" should a player score against Burnley on Saturday in the club's first game at the King Power Stadium since the death of Owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, according to Matt Hughes of the LONDON TIMES. The club usually plays Kasabian's "Fire" after scoring but will not do so this weekend "out of respect" for the late owner and four companions who died in a helicopter crash as they left the game against West Ham United on Oct. 27. Leicester is planning a number of tributes before the Burnley game. The club will review whether to change its celebration music at a later date or resume playing "Fire," which repeats the phrase, "I’m on fire." The club also will hold a two-minute silence before the Burnley game and offer a number of giveaways to fans (LONDON TIMES, 11/7).
