G2 Esports, Paysafecard Collaborate On Esports Reality Show

A new reality show is coming to esports "thanks to a new partnership between G2 Esports and online payment company paysafecard," according to Ferguson Mitchell of THE ESPORTS OBSERVER. The show, called "Making the Squad," will feature a competition between top gaming influencers to win a full-time contract with G2's Fortnite content team. "Making the Squad" will also receive support from gaming peripheral brand Logitech G and esports team management platform Esports-Management. All three companies are existing partners of G2 Esports. G2 Esports CEO Carlos Rodriguez, who will lead a judging panel, said that his team is "constantly dreaming up new ways to interact with the industry and provide pathways for talented pros dreaming of going big." The top four finalists will receive full-time contracts as "G2 Esports' new Fortnite content team" (TEO, 11/6).
