Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Romania are "considering a joint bid" to host the 2030 World Cup and the European Championship two years earlier, according to Angel Krasimirov of REUTERS. No Balkan nation has hosted the World Cup. However, the former Yugoslavia, which broke up in '91, hosted the four-country European Championships in '76. The FA already announced plans to "conduct a feasibility study" into a joint bid for the '30 tournament along with Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. A South American tri-nation bid involving Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay was already announced for '30. Morocco also said that it will "try again" for '30. FIFA is not expected to vote to decide the '30 hosts before '22 (REUTERS, 11/2).
