Former Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi was banned from the sport for life "for breaking bribery and corruption rules." FIFA said that Nyantakyi also "broke conflict of interest rules." Nyantakyi was also VP of the Confederation of African Football and a member of the FIFA Council (BBC, 10/30).
ManU's plea for extra tickets for the derby game was "largely ignored" by Man City. ManU complained about a reduced allocation for last season's fixture but was given only 70 more for the game at the Etihad on Nov. 11.
