Leicester City To Take Bus To Saturday's Match At Cardiff City

Leicester City confirmed its Premier League game at Cardiff City will go ahead on Saturday, according to John Percy of the London TELEGRAPH. However, the team will travel "by coach rather than flying by plane as originally planned" (TELEGRAPH, 10/30). In London, Paul Wilson reported a minute's silence will be observed before kickoff at Cardiff -- "as well as at all other Premier League grounds this weekend" -- and the players will wear black armbands in honor of those who died in the helicopter crash on Saturday (GUARDIAN, 10/31).

SAYING THANKS: The club's late owner's son Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said in a statement, "I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for this overwhelming support. Thank you, also, to Leicestershire Police and the Emergency Services. Their fast response on Saturday kept a lot of people safe. Their professionalism and sensitivity since then have made the last few days as bearable as they could be. What happened made me realise how important my dad was to many people all over the world and I'm touched by how many people kept him close to their hearts" (Leicester City).
