A1 Launches Max Sport 3, Giving It Three Sports Channels In Bulgaria

A1 "launched its third proprietary sports channel in Bulgaria," according to Chris Dziadul of BROADBAND TV NEWS. Known as Max Sport 3, it made its debut on Tuesday with coverage of the Champions League. Its schedule will include Serie A, "selected tennis tournaments," golf, beach football, speedway, motoring championships and other sports. Max Sport 3 is being offered by A1 as part of the Max Sport Plus TV package. The price of the package remains €2.04 ($2.32M) a month with a two-year subscription. A1’s sports channels in Bulgaria now broadcast more than 8,000 hours of live content a year (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 10/24).
