Political Group Files Appeal Against Barcelona's Espai Barça Project

Spanish political group CUP-Capgirem "presented a court appeal asking a judge to paralyze" Barcelona's Espai Barça project, which includes remodeling Camp Nou and urbanizing the area around the stadium, according to SPORT. CUP said that it wants to paralyze the project to open "a space for debate regarding the lavish work that Barcelona wants to carry out." The group will on Wednesday hold a press conference to "unveil the details of its appeal."
