Event Notes: Liverpool Women To Play At Prenton Park

Liverpool Women reached an agreement with Tranmere Rovers to play its home matches for the next three seasons at Prenton Park. Liverpool will play its FA Women’s Super League, FA Women’s Cup and FA Women's League Cup games at the stadium (Liverpool).

Digicel and the NBA announced the top 14 boys and girls from the Digicel NBA Jumpstart Program will attend Sunday's Brooklyn Nets-Golden State Warriors game on Sunday in Brooklyn. The players were selected by New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry (NBA).

A mid-tier professional tournament in Traralgon, Australia, this week "could swell the number of locals earning direct entry into next year’s Australian Open." No Australian men "are within range of qualifying" for the eight-man ATP World Tour finals to be held in London early next month, though the nation’s No. 1, Alex de Minaur, is among the eight-player field for the Next Gen Championships in Milan (THE AUSTRALIAN, 10/22).
