The German FA (DFB) partnered with Fanatics. Beginning in January, the long-term partnership will give Germany fans "a greater range of products and wider availability around the world" through Fanatics' vertical manufacturing model for the sports merchandise industry. Man City partnered in the U.K. and Asia Pacific with tappit, which offers cashless experiences. The deal will explore the use of the technology at club events across the world, including global live screenings and mass participation events (Man City).

Scotland int'l footballers are "still preparing for games" in kits featuring the Vauxhall logo despite the sponsorship deal ending months ago. The Invictus Games Sydney announced Amazon as an official sponsor. Amazon will participate in the WithYouWithMe Career Expo in support of the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 (MINISTRY OF SPORT, 10/18).

Tag Heuer activated an Instagram-driven campaign to allow J.League fans to win match tickets. "Pressure Free Kick," created by Tokyo agency UltraSuperNew, is an interactive playable manga game accessed via Tag Heuer's Instagram account (ASIA SPONSORSHIP NEWS, 10/18).

Esports organization Immortals named Nitto Tire an official sponsor. The deal includes esports brands "under the Immortals ownership umbrella" like Overwatch League team Los Angeles Valiant and Brazilian Counter-Strike squad Made In Brazil (MiBR) (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 10/17).
