Media Notes: UFC Partners With Pay-TV Network WOWOW In Japan

UFC confirmed it signed a new deal with pay-TV network WOWOW in Japan. The agreement began with UFC 229 on Saturday. In Japan, WOWOW will offer the exclusive live transmission of UFC's pay-per-view events. The channel's subscribers can watch UFC programs live and on-demand via WOWOW Members On-Demand and WOWOW (UFC).

Bundesliga side Werder Bremen signed a deal with identity and data platform Verimi. The club will "integrate the company's services into its online offerings, with Verimi gaining a branding presence at Werder's Weser-Stadion" (SOCCEREX, 10/5).

ONE Championship announced a strategic partnership with AIS PLAY, an online streaming solution operated by mobile network operator AIS. The Thai company provides digital solutions and products for mobile, fixed broadband and digital (ONE Championship).
