Event Notes: Scottish League Cup Semifinal Moved To Murrayfield

Heart of Midlothian's Scottish League Cup semifinal against Celtic was moved to Murrayfield in Edinburgh and will kick off at 1:30pm on Oct. 28. Aberdeen vs. Rangers will take place on the same day at Hampden at 4:30pm. Both matches "were originally scheduled to take place in Glasgow." Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers described the process as "unfair" (BBC, 10/3).

The Women's Big Bash League will ask cricket fans to "reach for their wallets" to attend standalone matches in Sydney this season. Adults will be charged A$10 ($7), while admission is free for fans under the age of 16. Concessions will be A$5 ($3.54). The full-season trial will be used to "gauge the product's value" (AAP, 10/4).

The start and finish venues for the 2019 Tour de Yorkshire cycle race were revealed. The stages will begin or end at Barnsley, Bedale, Bridlington, Doncaster, Halifax, Leeds, Scarborough and Selby. A tour of next year's Int'l Cycling Union (UCI) Road World Championships circuit in Harrogate is also included. The full route will be announced in December and the race will run from May 2-5 (BBC, 10/4).
