Executive Transactions: Matthieu Fenaert Named Octagon's Head Of Global Events & Hospitality

MATTHIEU FENAERT was named head of global Events & hospitality at Octagon Marketing. He will drive collaboration across Octagon's global strategy, creative and account teams to develop B2C and B2B events and hospitality programs. Fenaert will be based in Tokyo to oversee the team in Japan as well as Octagon's efforts for the Rugby World Cup 2019, Tokyo 2020, 2022 World Cup, Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024 (Octagon).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Super Rugby side Sunwolves on Thursday named attack coach TONY BROWN its head coach for the '19 season. The 43-year-old former All Black replaces compatriot JAMIE JOSEPH, who "stepped aside to focus on leading the Japan national team to the 2019 Rugby World Cup." Brown, who is also an assistant coach for Japan, led the Sunwolves for the last three games of the '18 season (KYODO, 9/27).
