Olympic Channel Premieres New Season Of 'Heroes Of The Future'

The Olympic Channel will chronicle its search for future Olympic champions in "Heroes of the Future." The 12-episode series premiered worldwide on Monday on the Olympic Channel global digital platform and is available on demand at olympicchannel.com and its mobile apps. The new season of "Heroes of the Future" features 12 young athletes from 10 different countries who are considered among the best in their respective sports. The Olympic hopefuls compete in 12 different sports including football, boxing, gymnastics and athletics as well as sports on the Youth Olympic Games program including sport climbing, breaking and roller speed skating. Episodes include the stories of nine-year-old Argentine sport climber Valentina Aguado, who hopes to become Argentina's first medalist in her sport, as well as 18-year-old U.S. rugby 7s player Inoke Junior Waqavesi, who is aiming to compete at Tokyo 2020 (Olympic Channel).
