Media Notes: ESPN Acquires U.S. Rights To Coppa Italia

ESPN "enhanced its coverage" of Italian football in the U.S. by "acquiring rights to the Coppa Italia club knockout competition." The deal, which includes the Italian Super Cup, comes "just over a month" after ESPN secured exclusive U.S. rights to Serie A (SOCCEREX, 9/14).

OTT streaming platform DAZN is launching a new service for its Canadian Champions League coverage "that lets subscribers take in six games concurrently." "Box to Box" will show "every major incident" from the competition (SOCCEREX, 9/14).

Slovak Telekom added five Digi Sport-branded channels to its portfolio. Available for "no additional charge" to customers of Magio Go and Digi Go, Digi Sport 6-10 officially made their debuts on Saturday (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 9/13).
