The fight, Horn's first since losing his world title to TERENCE CRAWFORD, is "all but locked in" for Nov. 30 and is expected to be officially confirmed "in the coming days" (AAP, 9/6). ... BARRY BENNELL, the former football coach who is serving a 30-year prison sentence as an "industrial-scale child molester," is facing the possibility of more criminal proceedings for the sexual abuse of players from the junior setups of Man City and Crewe Alexandra (London GUARDIAN, 9/6). ... Asian Games medal winner FOUAAD MIRZA on Thursday called for financial help in popularizing equestrian in India, saying that the government can "take a cue" from European nations such as the U.K. and Germany. Mirza became the first Indian to win an Asian Games individual medal in the equestrian event since '82 (PTI, 9/6). ... Scotland's "most decorated track and field athlete," EILIDH DOYLE, is "poised to join the board of Scottish Athletics."
